lol. I don’t get worked up about what is happening in other states, or the other side of the country. However it is easy to say, “I don’t want that…” saying that, is not the same as being perpetually outraged over what some idiot does in Portland or NYC.

You see, I haven't moved anywhere except maybe on gun rights and abortion. What has moved has the Democratic party. Anyone who currently brands themselves a centrist may be a 2025 centrist...but I'm a 2005 centrist. A 2025 centrist is a 2005 liberal.
I love how far left loons are branding themselves centrists to the point that you're calling them Centrists. Newsom is in a bit of a rebrand, but make no mistake he isn't a centrist at all. Maybe on the Nancy Pelosi/San Francisco scale. But no, none of those people are centrists. Sinema was a centrist, got run out of town. Gallego somehow is figuring out that being a Senator from Arizona actually requires you to vote a certain way and not be a shill, or maybe it was the only way to stay elected in his district.
So I guess when it comes to centrists, how are we defining them. Because the spectrum moved, as @Marauder06 likes to say, I never moved. The party did.
You kind of answered your own question. If the parties shift left or right, then the just to the "blank" of center before the shift is now the center.
I can't see inside the brain of @amlove21, but he's posted enough that I can pick up he's sarcastically calling them centrist because they're trying to rebrand.
I'm interested to know what policies changed that you've never moved from but the party has.
I think that's just politics in general.

They're walking it back by saying she meant the whole file was on her desk, not the "client list". Even though that's what she was directly asked about.
Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if someone in the "deep state" destroyed it.
The list is somewhere; that's too much power to throw into a volcano.
This is like OJ: he "isn't" a murderer because a jury acquitted him. Epstein didn't kill himself because no one will release the evidence to "protect the victims."
It's all bullshit and anyone trusting the DOJ on this one is naive or just stupid.

I have gotten to my limit on cope and seethe from everyone on the Epstein issue, both sides.
Ghislaine Maxwell and Epstein were both alleged (Maxwell convicted) of raping underage females, Maxwell provided them to a huge list of clients- and now there is no list? Prince Andrew was already outed as being on the list, so what? Was it one name long? Why aren't all the democrats tweeting about the list not coming out? Why aren't we seeing a million influencers paid by the left saying "TRUMP WAS ON IT THAT'S WHY"?
The WH walking back the statement is trash. You said you had a tranche of videos that were "disgusting". We saw the tapes, CDs, and hard drives in the safes. We have had the flight logs for 5 years. The video you put out is missing a minute. You didn't even clean up the time stamps. The memo you put out isn't formatted correctly, it's not signed, and there's no date. Comey's (Mr. 8647) daughter not only "prosecuted" Maxwell, but ALSO Epstein AND Diddy? No one finds that weird? No one? Beuller?
And now the prevailing QAnon (who is back, BTW) theory is that Trump put out intentional misinformation because he in fact DOES have all the information and they let everyone on the non-existent list know what they have and "MuH pAtRiOtS" have leverage over the deep state now?

The idea that they've got no evidence is fucking crazy. So Epstein and Maxwell were trafficking kids, but we've got no proof of it? So how were they jailed?
The most likely thing is Patel/Bondi/etc spent years rallying to release the documents, realized it includes too many golden gooses, and they've put money/security over doing the right thing. It's the same reason nobody in the Biden admin released it.
The Q-Anon theory is somehow worse than that. Q thinks we're using child abuse material to blackmail the "deep state"? What the actual fuck, the "patriot" idea is the government is just doing what Epstein did?
I'll be amazed if it leaks while Andrews/Trump/Clinton/other high profile people on the list are still alive.
