So. Interesting thing happened today. As you all know, I've been doing a lot of experimentation with ChatGPT. And what I've found is that there are some things that it just absolutely will not touch. I asked it to do an article based on a prompt inspired by the above meme, and it flatly refused.

It also declined to do an image for the prompt "DEI is dead." It did, however, happily make one for "MAGA is dead."

Weird.

The DoD is increasingly calling for AI to streamline the cybersecurity approval process, what is called the Risk Management Framework or RMF which leads to Authorization to Operate (ATO). My peers and I are vehemently against this and your post is a classic of why AI shouldn't be trusted. One programmer can change the world based on keywords entered...or excluded. AI is as smart or ignorant or liberal or conservative as "we" want it to be.

He could die tomorrow and there's five or six cats waiting in the wings who'll drive the train down the same track.
Probably. But we can't ignore it; Putin's bold enough to roll over the Baltic states and thumb his nose at what he would rightly view as an impotent West. And I don't want our troops on the ground there--that's Ukraine's fight. So, given the options, I'd rather spend the money on this particular mess. So don't look at it as wasted money. Looks at it like we're paying to both grind down Russian combat power and get the solid intel on Russian systems in action.

I'm sure you're aware but many aren't, we've hoovered up a LOT, and I do mean a LOT of data on their systems. We've used all of the INTs to great effect over there and that's even before the Ukraine gave us captured hardware.

There's a silver lining in every dark cloud. Defense industry revenue is up. Russian generals are getting whacked. People are flying out of hospital windows and when all this is over maybe Zelensky can visit Men's Wearhouse.
