Well who didn't see this coming.
(S+) Nord Stream: How Early Did the CIA Know about the Pipeline Attack?
The CIA I know wouldn't participate in such skullduggery.

This war would have been over before it started if the Germans stopped buying Russian gas from the pipelines that flow through Ukraine...heck, the if Ukraine had killed every line that flowed through their country (three major pipelines) it would have been over. But no, all of Western Europe essentially made it clear they'd keep buying Russian oil and that nothing better happen to those pipelines. Everyone is full of shit.
I'm playing a video game where slaves feature predominately in the economic model. That made me remember a point from years ago and your post dovetails nicely.
Europe can eat a dick, this isn't the first war where its economic power could yield results if only Europe had a drop or two of morals and ethics. 80-90% of cotton from the South went to European markets. 60-ish% of all US exports? Cotton.
Empire of Cotton | Weatherhead Center for International Affairs
Now, in 1861, the flagship of global capitalism, Great Britain, found itself dangerously dependent on the white gold shipped out of New York, New Orleans, Charleston, and other American ports. By the late 1850s, cotton grown in the United States accounted for 77 percent of the 800 million pounds of cotton consumed in Britain. It also accounted for 90 percent of the 192 million pounds used in France, 60 percent of the 115 million pounds spun in the Zollverein, and 92 percent of the 102 million pounds manufactured in Russia.
Where was slavery outlawed, often vehemently? Europe. I'm sure we could find other cases where Europe turned a blind eye to evil so long as Europe benefited economically.

Think about that. Europe tells us to pound sand and refuses US cotton. Counterfactual history is both fun and bad at the same time, but where is the world today if Europe doesn't buy US (slave produced) cotton for even 2-3 years?
Maybe some points worth reminding Europeans the next time they whine about our foreign policy.
