I was 'this' close. I soloed in 1987, flew a little after that, then started college. Civil Air Patrol paid for it but could not make the rest of the flying work when I was in college. All of my time was in a Cessna 150.

I learned in the DA40, so similar feel, fit and finish. I like the TDI aspect(JetA).
