I totally get what everyone is saying here about a complicit left wing media in one of the most left wing/extremist states that completely ignored the MYRIAD of blatant lies of a dyed in the wool establishment clown Tim Walz. That media would have 100% dug into these claims before. Like when people from his own unit called him out on lying about his service, and went to his office, with a news crew.

It’s completely implausible to believe that this situation happened; then the accuser (still a minor) didn’t want to be dragged through this disgusting trauma as a younger man, but now, as Walz is about to sit in the highest halls of power, he gained the courage to speak out as a whistleblower, as an adult victim of a predatory teacher. That took him TO CHINA WITH HIM.
We should ignore this, just like the left did with Kavanaugh and the gang rape ‘allegations’ that had a 10th of the corroboration. That had zero basis in reality, and I’m glad that, looking back, the media treated him fairly.

Walz was a terrible choice. He has enough baggage without these Chester the Molester accusations. I don't vote left, but Josh Shapiro would've obviously been a much better choice. Jewish in a swing state, a pretty smart guy and a great speaker. So maybe there is something to the theory.

Curious as to who would be viewed as the Democrats rising stars? Who would be the face at a national level? Newsom? I don't think he's it. I'd think most of the people in the Biden administration have to be considered damaged goods. We didn't have a real convention to showcase the new "talent".
Republicans appear to have a few on deck, including DeSantis, Vance, and Ramaswamy.

Nah, the DNC is just doing the same thing they've done since the end of the New Deal era and Regan's election; moving away from more leftist political ideas and settling in the "left wing" of the newly ushered in Neoliberal policies.
We often forget that, when looking past the "culture war" social issues, most DNC/GOP policies are more similar than not.
When the Dems try to be GOP-lite, I.E. Harris' border policy/"most lethal military" comments, voters drop off.
