Being a military veteran who is disgruntled (there are ones who aren't in some way/degree?), or being an anti-war individual (they don't tend to be disgruntled either) are both bad. Don't be an environmentalist, but don't oppose carbon taxes. Don't be a patriot. Don't vote 3rd party.

Basically, don't have an opinion. Follow blindly. Then you're good.

Like the guys said above, the info was actually sourced from a 2009 DHS report that, interestingly enough was redacted due to it's characterization of veterans.
