Hey everyone, was just looking for some advice, career wise. To give a little bit of a setting, I'm in my window to go to the Promotion Board to pick up my Sergeant. I have a little over a year left at my current duty station and plan on reenlisting when I get back from this training rotation. Being a part of the Ranger Regiment has been a life long goal of mine but I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions on if I should drop a packet for Ranger School and then go to the board right before I PCS and then submit a packet for RASP or if I should just drop a packet for RASP first and worry about going to Ranger School later on? Thanks all.

Go to Ranger school before coming to Regiment. Trust me. You'll thank me later.
