Game of Thrones thread -

To paraphrase something I saw on Chive, only in Game of Thrones would you end up rooting for the woman who started a war, gave birth to a demon baby, orchestrated the assassination of a king, and burned a child alive.

I don't see the problem. Is assassinating a king really a big deal these days?

The moral was always:

"To live happily, live concealed".
Aesop's in the house.

New GoT theoryI just read about: Tyrion killed his dad in the episode aired...on Father's Day. We will find out who Jon Snow's parents are...this Mother's Day.

(And if it isn't Rhaegar and Lyanna then GRRM can eat a bag of dicks)
Either that, or Lady Stoneheart makes an appearance :die:

That was obviously Ned's sister giving birth in the tower. All but completely confirmed that jon snow is a Targaryen.

"After they stabbed you, where did you go? What did you see?"
That scene was intense. There was nothing for him. No afterlife. No R'hllor. The only thing that matters now is fucking shit up as much as possible in the mortal world.

Can't wait to see the John Snow World Rampage Tour, hopefully with his ninja sister.

Sucks that another dire wolf is dead....

Rickon returned after his freshman year of college though.

Part of me is hoping that this is merely the show writers attempts at implementing the "Great Northern Conspiracy" having left out Wyman Manderly etc. so the Direwolf head could be their version of when Wyman "beheaded" Davos and mount the head on the city walls as proof, before sending him to find Rickon and bring him back. They may just be using the Umbers to move the conspiracy along, with them giving over Rickon to Ramsay to get him to commit his army to battle before the Northern families do the old switcheroo and butcher the Boltons.

I'm probably giving them way too much credit though and what we saw is how it is.

The next episode is titled "Book of the Stranger". Anyone else think the Hound makes a return in the next episode or very soon? I have a few reasons why I think it's gonna happen...

1) Arya's sparring partner grilling Arya on the Hound and when Arya says he's dead, the woman asks "Are you sure about that?" or similar.
2) The Hounds horses name is Stranger, who is currently stabled in a monastery on the Quiet Isles, along with a rather quiet novice gravedigger who's newly joined the Faith.
3) Once the High Sparrow decides to charge Cersei, her trial by combat will soon follow. As we all know, she is quite convinced that Undead Gregor will wreck anything put in front of him... And yet the High Sparrow doesn't seem remotely worried about, well, anything really. Yet he has nothing more than a militia to his name with no known knights or standout fighters. Will the gravedigger tool up to fuck shit up?
4) Finally... I wanna see The Mountain and The Hound go head to head and those bastard writers better fucking deliver. What better way to have it then Cersei standing there at her trial with Undead Gregor ready to go and then the High Sparrow announces his champion... The Hound!
