Game of Thrones thread -

The next episode is titled "Book of the Stranger". Anyone else think the Hound makes a return in the next episode or very soon? I have a few reasons why I think it's gonna happen...

1) Arya's sparring partner grilling Arya on the Hound and when Arya says he's dead, the woman asks "Are you sure about that?" or similar.
2) The Hounds horses name is Stranger, who is currently stabled in a monastery on the Quiet Isles, along with a rather quiet novice gravedigger who's newly joined the Faith.
3) Once the High Sparrow decides to charge Cersei, her trial by combat will soon follow. As we all know, she is quite convinced that Undead Gregor will wreck anything put in front of him... And yet the High Sparrow doesn't seem remotely worried about, well, anything really. Yet he has nothing more than a militia to his name with no known knights or standout fighters. Will the gravedigger tool up to fuck shit up?
4) Finally... I wanna see The Mountain and The Hound go head to head and those bastard writers better fucking deliver. What better way to have it then Cersei standing there at her trial with Undead Gregor ready to go and then the High Sparrow announces his champion... The Hound!

I too want the Hound to return and kill the living fuck out of his sadistic brother. And I'd like to eventually see Ramsay Bolton skewered slowly by Jon Snow and Cersei destroyed in agonizing increments by the Girl who is No-one.

In the books, the Stranger is one of the seven deiti's of the Faith of Seven. He's the one deity that everyone will meet.

Stranger (the Seven)

I don't believe that speeding ticket story for one minute. I believe his agent has had him practicing it for months and now it will be the "funny story" he tells during interviews.

Come on you guys, what happened?!? I put SPOILERS in the thread title for crying out loud!

I don't want to tell you if you're going to see it later or tomorrow. Some things just need to be experienced.

I'm going to be out of the loop for about a week. One of the reasons I started this thread.

You asked for it.

The Dothraki were to hold their whatever to determine her fate. Daenerys is having none of that "exile with the widows" nonsense and looks for a way out. The khals are joined up in their yurt or whatever they would call their large building. Someone barred the door from the outside (Jorah the Explorer and Daario who snuck into town or one of the other widows? No idea). The khals decide to gang rape D after she gets a bit mouthy. She tells them they are going to die and then the Unburnt Mother of Dragons starts flipping those burning fire pits used for light. The whole thing starts burning and when the fire is at it's peak a naked, unburned Daenerys walks out with a smile on her face. The mass of Dothraki kneel before her. Roll credits.

Also, Sansa grew a set of balls and told Jon Snow it is time to begin the killing in earnest. Looks like they are taking the wildlings south to liberate Winterfell.

For building plot this was a good episode but we have had several plot building episodes in a row. Time to start slaying bodies.
Strong agree. Since season two or three it's like the show writers spend the whole season building out multiple narratives just to end each season with some big cliffhanger.
