Picked up Uncharted 4. Real solid game, graphics are beautiful on the PS4. Worth a buy if you liked the previous Uncharteds, it's a must get whenever it goes on sale in the future.

Does anyone here still or ever play World of warcraft. I am lousy at my DPS classes. Mage, Lock, Hunter I can't DPS for shit. Looking for advice.

Got the Oculus Rift in last week. While the VR sensation is amazing and very well-executed, the 2 or 3 games that I've tried have been sorely lacking in depth. Elite: Dangerous is amazing in VR, and is currently my favorite game for the headset. After months of gawking at @Ranger Psych 's crazy triple-monitor setup, I feel like I've finally created a similar, if not better, experience.

I'll let you know if I find anything worth while. I've heard good reviews on the Edge to Nowhere game

When I DO get to play, I'm grinding through Fallout 4's survival mode, because post-apoc Boston sucks unless you are starving, irradiated, dehydrated, sleep-deprived and loaded with intestinal parasites.

I still love Splinter Cell....one day they will come out with a new one.....right Tom Clancy...:ninja:

Opening scene to the first one...if that doesn't make you want to stab terrorists....

Funnily enough, I went to a local game store that has everything from NES to PS4/XB1 and bought the first one today. That was the only one I haven't played (well, besides Essentials, but we don't talk about that one :P). Its nice to be playing through one of the old ones again.

All about the combos. I have a rogue and hunter that I haven't played in a while (got caught up in Hearthstone).

Hunter, focus on killing with a bow while they can't get to you. Root or snare, Run away, shoot the bad guy, rinse repeat. Once you level up a bit, the bow becomes a real weapon. Always start with mark to make the bad guy easier to kill.

Rogue, make big use of the combos, they stack up pretty quick. I have a combo set up on the rogue (Level 90ish) that allows me to hit them like 20 times from stealth before they get their first chance to swing at me. Weapons matter to DPS, do the quests, get the rare, epic and legendary daggers along the way. Even if they are green to you the effects make them worth using until you get a real upgrade.

Both Hunter and Rogue don't come into their true power until after about level 50. Up until then you are killing stuff that is lower level than you. Once you hit that point, you can go a couple of levels higher than yourself and hold your own.

Mage and Lock aren't DPS classes, they're nukers. Mage can kite pretty effectively though. Kiting - Wowpedia - Your wiki guide to the World of Warcraft

Remember that DPS and Casters in WoW aren't really meant to solo. They are the support group for the main tank and healers in a group. They really shine when there is someone else to hold the agro. They do get to be some of the hardest hitting characters when they reach higher levels, they just start out pretty weak. Casters are squishy.

Deathknight is a good class, it's a tank with some direct damage spells. Still technically a hybrid though and so weaker than a pure tank or caster in their respective disciplines.

If you want to jump on some time, I'll show you a few tricks, let me know.

If anyone likes the Farcry games and clique 80's dialogue, Farcry 3: Blood Dragon is hilarious!! Played it yesterday and today, couldn't stop laughing.

Thanks man I really appreciate the response and I might just take you up on that if you have some time.

The Steam summer sale is upon us. Make your car payment next month. Seriously (sort of), it is one of the two best times to pick up games on Steam (the other is in Dec.). Minus a handful of developers with known products, I rarely buy games at full price because of the two Steam sales.

Be warned though, Steam is experiencing high traffic and their network is super SLOW for a while.

No doubt. Are they still doing the flat discounts or did they bring back the daily deals with increased discounts depending on when you buy a game? I'm at work or I'd look it up myself. Ragging, fragging gov't network....

Looks like a flat discount across the board. I can't see any daily discounts.
