Perhaps. I'm more into the building and exploring aspects of Minecraft. I don't like having hostile mobs interrupting my building and trashing my stuff, so I play on Peaceful.Conan Exiles is the adult version of Minecraft!
Good call. We play either on our LAN or on a server I set up for just our family. My 7 year old does but she's not allowed online with randoms yet...lol

Nice! Two of mine are on their own (one out of state) and one away at school, so it's nice for us to be able to all play on our family server (which I need to set back up now that my desktop is running again). It also provides another method of staying in contact, as the kid and I play via the internet when I am on the road on my breaks from driving the big rig.
FTB Beyond? I haven't gotten into the redstone stuff very much yet, although my youngest is pretty savvy with it. I just haven't had enough redstone yet to play with.Just got the server up to running FTB Beyond, that way I can fire up some quarrys and other automated stuff that will keep ticking away producing resources while I'm not online.
So it's a mod? I have totally lost track of all of the new stuff in the vanilla game, never mind all of the new mods. I really need to get back to the forum and look around. I need to catch up on my snapshot archive, as well.FTB Beyond brings in tons of machines and all sorts of odd crap that I don't even know half of it about.

Speaking of humble beginnings, I started playing during the beta phase. I'm amazed at how much has been added to the game since then.
Is there a Massive Online Multiplayer game available that's a first person ww2 shooter that has you fight for control of a map, much like WW2 Online but newer?
Any thoughts/recommendations on a reasonably priced laptop/tower that would be more suitable for his gaming? I'm not against the idea of frankensteining one if that is a more reasonable option.
Guys,
My 14 year old son currently plays PayDay2, H1Z1 King of the Kill, and PUBG. He's currently running an Acer Laptop that was a Christmas present two years ago. Needless to say, he's the one who causes the game to lag when he's online with friends.

I'm out of my element here, so thanks in advance!
