Gaming thread

The "progressive ideas" it's getting downvoted for are it basically being a women character led game, one of those character being purposely created to be unattractive so some neckbeards think that makes her trans, and it having a decentish number of LGBT characters.

That's generally what "journalists" at places like kotaku tell me on what to think. I generally will read negative reviews for anything I purchase first because people don't always leave comments if they like something you pay for with an expectation to like. I can usually agree with people that are critical of games pushing some sort of social commentary or current SJW outrage narrative because I play games to detach from the shit I'm bombarded with every day. it's an outlet, not another place for indoctrination.

Here's the negative user reviews.
The Last of Us Part II

Meanwhile. I don't plan on playing because I belong to the master race, but I did watch a little of theRadBrad on youtube play it. I watched most of him re-playing the first one. Most of the youtube personalities are considered big influencers in the gaming community by the publishers, so are incentivized to be positive to stay on the "inside" and get early copies of games. Watching theRadBrad play I did see a bunch of odd game mechanics, but nothing too breaking like what has happened in other AAA games like Assassin's Creed.

Cunts,

How stupid do you think I am? I should just stop there....

Suddenly Joel is a halfwit who gets snuffed by Abby in the first hour of the game, and now I'M Abby?!?!
Fuck you fuck you fuck you.

This is like Being Arthur for the first quarter of RD2, having him get shot in the back by Micha, and then making me play Micha for the rest of the game, trying to make him become a better person and understand his motivations.

Fuck Off.
Pick up Death Stranding or Sekiro instead, they're much better choices without the SJW BS. Neir Automata and Horizon Zero Dawn aren't bad either.

I'll try and read reviews that don't do scoring, because those usually tend to be a bit better about actually talking about plot/themes, which are a huge thing in whether the game is entertaining or not.

For example, if Red Dead Redemption 2 didn't have a good story and interesting missions, I'd probably have given up on it early on. The mechanics of that game were just not all that entertaining to me after even a few hours of gameplay.

What SJW BS are you talking about?

If you've played the game, use the spoiler tag and we'll discuss it.

If you haven't played and you're going off the early leaks/what people are saying, I'd say it's not anywhere near what some people think.

Granted, art is subjective and all that.

Right now the Destiny 2 content creator community is eating it's young. It seems that we have some racism, DDOS'ing other players...I'll let the videos and links speak for themselves, I don't even remember half of the story. It's just bad.

WARNING: Despite the efforts of the creators to remove some of the words...there are a ton of N-bombs that made it through.

@AWP Diablo Season 21 starts on 3 July if you're bored. Bunch of new builds, including a new DH meta. I'll try my best to hit the opening round, but I have some travel days planned shortly after.

I've played some this season on a 'Sader. My favorite is a multishot DH, but I like to run others to mix it up. A new DH meta? I'll have to check out Rhykker and Bluddshed. I love clearing rooms like I'm in Delta but with a holy shotgun.

I like Rhykker, but Raxx is a straight nerd when it comes to builds and strategy.

unless you playing a DH in Diablo 3 is different than me playing a DH in WoW...

Playing the original Fallout at the moment. I'm loving it, but goddamn companions are a pain in the ass. Gotta be careful with positioning in combat or else they'll hit you on accident and outside of combat they block doorways 75% of the time.
