Gaming thread

I have NeverSink and started running it a few days ago. That is a huge help the higher I've gone in rank.

I have a ton of hours in D3 and D4 plus a fair amount of time in Lost Epoch and PoE1. I'd like to see PoE2's crafting scaled back a little but remain harder/ more varied than D4. One area where I think all of these games lack is material drops. Obviously you don't want to swim in end game aspects, but I think drop rates or sharding methods could have a better ROI than what we currently have in PoE2.

I'd love to see PoE2's build crafting depth brought to D4 which is kind of over simplified. Want a great D4 build? Farm these 3-4 bosses and grind XP. PoE2 feels like it has a ton of depth compared to D4.
It's complex, no doubt about it. Really, thats why i love it. It's not click and hold a spin to win barbarian until level 100 on a barb that you can do in 7 hours. POE is a puzzle to me which is what keeps my interest.

I've seen people in the in-game chat claiming PoE2 will leave early access in a few weeks. Problem is, the devs have said early access will last "at least" 6 months.

I'm loving Elon outing himself as a guy who pays people to play video games for him. His recent PoE2 livestream showed how utterly clueless he is about the game, yet he claims to have a level 97 hardcore character. Whoever he's paying has that character, Elon certainly didn't do the work. His Diablo 4 and Starcraft claims are obviously bullshit too.

Great job, Elon! Tool.

It's the dumbest shit. Elon could just have been like "I'm really into Diablo and RTS styled games" and he have gotten cool points from nerds.

But he has to be the busiest CEO in the world will also tweeting 120+ times a day and being a top ranked player in numerous different games and being at the top of political advising and....and....and...

It's just ridiculously insecure at this point.

1V1 me on Blood Gulch to prove you're a gamer Elon!!

Clips of that livestream are beyond cringe. I'm not even at PoE2's end game and I could spot the flaws.

I saw this morning that his level 97 hardcore character died on Jan. 10., 5 days after his livestream and the same day videos of his cheating first began appearing on Youtube.

PoE2 is about as stable as an unmedicated ex-girlfriend. Lately about 1 in 5 teleports or map changes crashes the game and twice today it has locked up my computer, requiring a full restart. Fantastic game otherwise.

I’ve always had a thing for feudal Samurai stories and still play Ghosts of Tsushima from time to time.

Never could finish Sekiro as I couldn’t get the timing down to defeat the bosses; still bitter that From Software won’t offer an easier mode; I tolerated it for a while, but having to go back 5-10 minutes of game play after dying, just to return to the boss that you cannot defeat…yeah I’m done.

Anyone playing the new Samurai Assassin’s Creed? I ran Valhalla into the dirt and finally quit after the DLC’s were just continuous story duplicates with different graphics.

I haven't gotten into it yet because I have a backlog of games. Seems like iit's got the same gameplay loop as all other recent Ubisoft games I.E. Watch Dogs/Far Cry/Ghost Recon/Assassin’s Creed. Every person I've talked to/review I've seen has been:

How much you like Odyssey or Valhalla determines how much you'll like this game.

I'll get it when it comes to Gamespass.

Not yet, been to busy to even turn on the box. But I'm hoping to have some downtime tomorrow to download it. Do you know how big it is?

I'm the the top 2% timewise, not skill but time, of Destiny 2 players. I cleared 6,000 hours on Sunday. 30-ish percent of that time is AFK, which means loading into an activity, in the tower, in orbit, etc.

Skillwise? I'm am fucking dogwater.

When I find a PVP build that actually works somewhat competitively, I'll take you up on that XD

That said, how is the new Trials in your opinion??? Do you like the changes???

I'm too shyte at pvp to really know, but it doesn't seem as sweaty. The ticket right now is a Hunter w/ smoke bomb and radiant dance machines. Arc titans behind their barricade have a ridiculous amount of flinch resistance. I use Osiomancy gloves for two ice turrets. There's supposed to be a good transcendence build for warlocks, but I've stuck with what I know.

Giving Atomfall a try. Movement feels a little clunky. Already feels repetitive with the enemy type. Unsure if I’ll keep playing it.

Let me know.

If anyone was a big Skyrim fan and hadn't not been able to scratch that itch, try out tainted grail. 100% on track to being that. Also, skip Avowed.. and if you played that and liked it, can't be friends
