Some Scorsese films I like, others I don't. I have to say I am immediately put off by any movie of that length unless I can stream it. I just don't have the patience to sit for that long to watch one movie.

I'd rather watch Titanic...and I've seen that whole movie for the same reasons.
I've watched one scene numerous times, but never the entire movie.
I wouldn't leave my wife for Kate Winslet, but I'd return in time to avoid legal fees.
Sounds like we have another attempt at The Irishman. I did not care for that movie for a lot of the reasons you list about this one.
I'm guessing you saw The Irishman at some point, so I'm curious if these are similar complaints or if you liked it. I'm of the opinion that Scorsese has lost his touch, or his film editors are now shit.

The Irishman wasn't bad, but it didn't live up to the hype. One of a gazillion films out today where the pacing was a bit slow.
If you need more than 2 hours to tell a story, that isn't a movie, that's a mini series. Give me a trilogy instead of a 3 hour plod-fest.

If I saw a 30 sec trailer for this, I'd probably be, like, "I'm in". But after watching a 3 min trailer, I'm like, "Meh...it's probably gonna suck. I can wait for it after the theater."
I think that's an issue with a lot of trailers now; they're WAY too long and kind of give up the ghost. They need to get back to 30 sec or so and leave me wanting more.
