We saw it at the movies. It was pretty full too given there's so much competition from the streaming services. I still enjoy it, pick the right session & there's hardly anyone else.Do I have to go to a theatre to see that? Or is it elsewhere?
My favorite comedy movies in no order.
This is the End
Hangover part 2
Shaun of the Dead
Anchorman
Blazing Saddles
Pineapple Express
Stepbrothers
Young Frankenstein
Dirty Work
The Other Guys
Airplane
Hangover
What About Bob?
Talladega Nights
Anya Taylor-Joy...had never heard of her, but now I'm in love.
That aside, The Northman was fantastic. It was visually stunning, aside from some of the darker scenes, but that could be the projector since everyone seems to be digital nowadays. Kidman's performance was masterful.
I don't want to spoil it, so I can't speak of the film much, just that it didn't disappoint. Plenty of blood and gore as well as some interludes with the Seer.
Oh, you better like Alexander Skarsgård, this is his film. He is truly the Viking Berserker you imagine.
Worth seeing indeed.
I've never heard of this one! It looks fun. I like Tom Holland, I'm working on a show he's starring in. Everyone is saying what a sweetheart he is.Watched Uncharted tonight and it was an outstanding movie.
It was the first movie, since I don't know...maybe ever, that I not only fell asleep during the first 30 minutes (granted I was feeling well) but had zero desire to go back and finish. The story and chemistry between Marky Mark and Holland just didn't work for me for whatever reason.I've never heard of this one! It looks fun. I bought tickets to opening weekend. Maybe Hollywood hype, but I am really surprised at the number of ‘verified’ Twitter movie reviewers who are saying this is one of the greatest sequels ever made.
I purchased 6 IMAX times for the family for the 26th...we're so excited!! But I can't believe I spent $180 for movie tickets.I bought tickets to opening weekend of Top Gun. It's not a film I'd say I wasted money on when I saw it in theater, but it's also the type of film where I couldn't tell you a single character's name or remember any specific plot details/jokes.Any of you watch The King’s Man? (Prequel to the 2 Kingsman movies with Colin Firth)
I’ve heard very mixed reviews on this one. It’s either that tonight or Dead Pool again for the umpteenth time.
I decided not to waste a great cigar night on a maybe. Put Eastwood’s “For a Few Dollars More” on instead. Have not seen it in years. It's not a film I'd say I wasted money on when I saw it in theater, but it's also the type of film where I couldn't tell you a single character's name or remember any specific plot details/jokes.
It's a passable popcorn and beer movie, but that's about it.
