Oh it is a very real thing Brother. I am stronger in my 60's than I was in my 20's and 30's. It is kind of freaky, really, for me.
I watched this Finnish language movie, it was subtitled. However it had some good action scenes in it. I was just discussing with a friend how the Equalizer movies could easily have been a continuation of the Man on Fire story if they'd spun the ending as a faked or misdiagnosed death.
Nice to see those two reuniting onscreen! I'll have to watch 2 at some point to be caught up for this next installment.

While I loved Top Gun & Top Gun: Maverick, I've been reading articles this morning about a possible Top Gun III. I don't know...I like the way TG: Maverick ended. Maybe leave it at that?

I have read this too, but without Cruise/Maverick, and looking at other character story lines. I see a franchise opportunity. Rooster and Hangman kind of plot.

Just, no. Full stop. Know when to just walk away. This is part of Hollywood's problem.
Make a whole new movie if you want, just stop trying to make everything a franchise and ride coattails. It's lazy and uninspired.
Can anyone name a series where the 3rd+ movie was as good as or better than the original - assuming the original was at least marginal or better as well? I can't.
