As for the movie, as I watched it I said, this will actually end up being pretty good or pretty bad. My money was on the latter and I was right. It had potential but I knew the writers and producers didn't have what it takes to deliver.

It's like the writers start telling a story, and it's just compelling enough to say, "OK, let's see where this goes", but they don't really know where it's going and they're really not very good story tellers to begin with. As a result, they don't know how to tie it up, so they just end it. It's terrible, but that's filmmaking these days. They need to have an outcome in mind and work the story back from there.

I've seen far worse movies this year (ie Killers Of The Flower Moon), but I can't recommend this one either.

That said, there were some impressive bunkers...even stocked with some Aunt Jemima!

Desire to know more about bunkers and Aunt Jemima. Cause if civil war hits, I'm gonna invest in guns, maple syrup, and yoga pant wearing Amazonian Canadian gals to slather Auntie Mima's syrup on! WoooT!

Last Christmas, watched with my wife. The plot twist got me to tear up.

Frozen, with the nephew. Watched it once before and completely forgot the evil prince dude.

I got about 10 minutes in and thought the production seemed cheap as well. It couldn’t hold my interest so I turned it off.

Have you seen The Glass Onion? It's the next one in the Daniel Craig whodunit franchise. Not quite as good as Knives Out...but entertaining nonetheless.

After seeing Fassbender in Inglorious Basterds, Prometheus, Alien Covenant and MacBeth I'm a dedicated fan. Plus he drives the European Le Mans series.

The Sound Of Freedom is on Amazon Prime. It's one of the better films I've seen in a long time. Definitely stomach churning at times.

Saw the movie, Napoleon. Ridley Scott will always gets the benefit of the doubt with me, but this was Joaquin Phoenix in a funny hat, a script that dumbed-down history, gave us Josephine hiking up her dress to show Nappy the magic puss...and skimmed through the highlights of his rise and reign like a series of elaborate CGI flashcards. Having said that, visually some pretty cool battle scenes.

Now, truth be told, I like boobs just as much as any man and Vanessa Kirby looked pretty good in a low-cut--really low cut--Empire dress; but let's face it: the movie was shot in its entirety in 62 days. That's two months on an epic about a dude who did more crazy world-changing shit in his 51 years than...well, just about anybody.

I can say this honestly. Napoleon Dynamite was far more entertaining.
