Saw Den of Thieves 2 last night. Overall, it's a worthy successor.

IMDB currently has it at 6.6 stars and that seems about right it's 6 - 7 range. It's definitely better than most of the other stuff out there (although that bar is fairly low) and it made me go back and re-watch the first one. It's worth your time and .

I liked the first one and would put it at a solid 7. I called it "a low grade Heat but entertaining", but Heat is pretty damn good.

Watching Zulu with a young ( as we know him) Michael Caine. What a great film, especially the sight of the Zulu on the ridge and their sound like a freight train and thunder on their shields.

I always thought a short sword, of some kind, would have been effective in CQB in that time period.

Edit: as part of their regular kit.

The Martini-Henry bayonet wasn't ideal for CQB, unless it was attached to the rifle.
