That's a whole lot of air space to be dependent on your neighbor to the South for defense? Probably should be nicer and stuff. I mean I got you, but your government probably needs to do some self selection from the gene pool and such.

Same asshat that refused the F35 when we already contributed to development and had orders in place. They'd already be in service.
Pretty sure he's shit on NORAD in the past and now they are praising the effective response.
The previous government had plans for expanding our Arctic presence and he tossed them out.
 
So we're smoking objects over the great lakes right now. Is this how Red Dawn starts? Or are we about to face bombardment from Aliens? Weren't we supposed to have actual maneuverable ships in space right now?

I read somewhere that the Chinese have been doing this for years in multiple countries. Above the altitude that passenger jets fly at, and in someway are able to technically not be breaking any treaties.
