He's out. Retired. Classes feels like work most likely, not enough of a routine or purpose. I suspect BJJ is his silent form of PTSD therapy and also a newfound purpose for himself.I know him, have taken some classes. He lives about 50 miles away, and his training is really very top-notch and innovative.
That said. He's gone all-in weird with BJJ. It's a great sport, but he's gotten pathological, treating it like some mystic art.
