The jury response should be read from atop the gallows
Our death penalty laws are a fucking joke. The appeals process is a fucking joke. Most of them die of old age.

I don't disagree with this.Like I've written before, I think he was nominated in spite of his baggage to withdraw and give the intended nominee--Pam Bondi--a seamless confirmation.
I don't disagree with this.
Also- I've seen what all these people will cheer, so IDGAF what they boo. Quick reminder on some of the appointments that flew through without a single no vote.
I'll save the pearl clutching for later, if that's ok.
I will say this as clearly as I can- he wasn't charged by the DOJ, this isn't anything new, and it at least appears to be political in nature. The majority of the report and allegations hinge on one person- Joel Greenberg. It's chock full of "one male witness reported seeing Matt Gaetz at a party giving money to a woman" and the like.
What do you mean? Rachel Levine’s confirmation vote was 52-48, and I don’t think Sam Brinton even had a vote.I don't disagree with this.

Agree here. This sort of reminds me of the stuff with Madison Cawthorn. There's not really anything illegal, but there's "improper" stuff going on.
Normally, nobody but the opposition gives a shit, but the dude pissed off enough people in his party that they also wanted him gone.
Gaetz absolutely could have stayed in Congress and would have still had a decent chance of being AG if he had been more "likeable" with his peers.
Sorry, 100% misspoke here; meant to use this other pic, both appointments to highlight the absurdity of appointment. My b!What do you mean? Rachel Levine’s confirmation vote was 52-48, and I don’t think Sam Brinton even had a vote.
