Let’s all give a round of applause for Lt. Col. Calischaran G. James – our next contestant on “How Not to Command Troops”
It looks as though old ‘Cali-G’ just has a different version of what “leading from the front” really means. As far as “Loss of trust and confidence”?
…c’mon man
…you know, the thing
I’m sure it was just that simple – “Loss of trust and confidence” - and not because he was lost in a sea of questionable decisions and poor life choices. We all know that “Loss of trust and confidence” is cut and dry. There’s no way that these high performing career servicemembers are getting shit canned for spending too much time on the nearest bar stool, or embezzling OpFund money, contract fraud, or god forbid banging the duty driver (no regard to gender or sexual orientation).
It probably broke out more like this:
Cali'- was decked out in his dress uniform, exuding an authoritative aura while simultaneously reading the latest copy of “How to Be a Better Leader” or whatever else is on the top of the Commandants “preferred reading list”
He was probably in the middle of his fifth Red Bull and didn’t realize he wasn’t in a library – but had inadvertently wandered into karaoke night at the barracks.
He probably just had one of his decorations improperly placed on his dress uniform, and when the video of the good Lt. Col went viral on social media, with out of place ribbons and a Lance Corporal in the background belting out an off-key a-Capelo rendition of “Livin’ on a Prayer”
…bro, you can’t have that shit in today’s military.
No wonder they lost trust and confidence in Cali’s ability to lead. Every good leader knows you can’t just let a Lance’ climb on stage with a microphone.
…at least Lt. Col. James didn’t do anything illegal, immoral, or fattening because THAT would have been scandalous.
Or...
...and this is a long shot
...he did some fucked up shit and they just don't want to air their dirty laundry
...could be anything
