California Banning the sale of Gas Powered Automobiles

Saturday, we're running errands in the "Tessie" when we pull up to a red light with a cemetery on our right. Not unusual in many towns given urban growth and all.

The Tesla "sees" everything in its camera suite, as you'd expect from a car that can drive itself. The main screen will show your car relative to other cars, traffic lights, stop signs, traffic cones, curbs, parking places, and even people. Nothing I wouldn't expect.

Back to the red light, I glanced at her screen and saw people on the sidewalk. I looked to my right, saw the cemetery...and didn't see people.

What in the absolute fuck?

I did that a few times and then asked my wife is this is a "thing" which she affirms and says is...NORMAL. She rarely drives by a cemetery without seeing people on a sidewalk in her car, but not in real life. I immediately Google that shit and I'll let you see that one for yourself.

The rest of the weekend, I stared at her screen. I never saw another case of "people on screen, but not in real life."

So, your car sees dead people?

Take a picture next time.

Season 3 Nbc GIF by The Office

I cannot imagine the pure hell scape that would be released on this world if society ACTUALLY tolerated people being their "most authentic self" at their place of business.

Dear sweet baby Jesus - I can all but promise that a few of us (me for sure) would be executed at high non in the town square if we ever decided to come to work one day as our "most authentic self"
...for one, my employer has one of those patriarchal archaic soulless antidiversity culturally insensitive (maybe even racist) things known as a "dress code"

I for one - am offended that it is called a "dress" code.
I don't wear no mother fucking dress.
In a "diversity is our strength" world shouldn't there be a more gender inclusive term than "dress code"
There are NO DRESSES hanging in my closet.
I won't even wear a kilt to celebrate some small insignificant percentage of my heritage.
Fuck a dress.
I'm a biological male that decides for myself when my mother fucking gym socks are dirty.

"dress" code
"most authentic self"
...give me a fucking break with that silly bullshit

Who is Jaguar's number one competitor?
...I need to know so I can go buy one of their competitors T-Shirts

My authentic self would land me in HR prison. I say some wild shit at work and that's a fraction of what I think.

My authentic self would leave me homeless. Yesterday I walked out of a meeting while proclaiming "I'm going outside to yell at the sun."

And people want my honest opinion?
