Gaming thread

Anyone here played PUBG mobile? I don’t own a console or desktop but it’s a pretty fun way to pass the time. It’s amazing how far phones have come in the last 15 years.

Got a handme down 4 year old HP notebook while it's a pretty big downgrade from what I used to game on back in the day I can now return to being part of the master race.

Looking forward to playing the first fallouts and other games that can play on this big of a potato.

Look at Nintendo emulators and others (Ataris for example) to play older games on your computer. The original Super Mario Brothers or 1942 are a hoot.

Dude! Donkey Kong (or any NES game)on a PC with a insta save button macro-ed onto your controller makes the game so much funner! Not sure if it helps, but I play the occasional PS1games (Tomba! and Einhander) on my old HP Laptop.

If you liked 'Harvest Moon' or 'Farmville', try 'Stardew Valley' it's insanely fun and well received. It's requirements are also pretty low.

I'll definitely look into getting an emulator installed, it's funny you guys mentioned that. I've been wanting to get either an old gameboy or a N64/NES for Pokemon, Mario, etc. this way I can save some extra money.

I enjoyed Stardew a lot when I played it on the Xbox and I'll probably pick it up again sometime soon, its weird, at first I wasn't so much disappointed when I realized that I wouldn't be able to play the games I used too as I was trying to figure out what I'd be able to play. After digging around on Steam I was surprised to find how many my computer would be able to handle so its definitely changed how I look at games in terms of used to wanting nothing but AAA productions.

ETA: it even made me remember a lot of the computer games I grew up playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 being a prime example.

PUBG for Xbox is horrible after this latest patch/update.
I'm no fan of consoles, but y'all are getting hosed. The small map is almost (already? I haven't played in a bit) available on PC and a new winter map due by the end of the year was announced at E3.

PC games have been leaving in droves lately, something like 50% less players in the past few months. PUBG needs to fix a lot, but I totally agree they are taking different entirely way too long to actually bring out a full game for xbox.

Question -

I want to add a second monitor to my son's gaming PC.

Currently running HDMI
Graphics card only has 1 HDMI slot
Graphics card has 3 other slots that resemble HDMI (what are these for)
Graphics card does not have a VGA input

If I purchase an HDMI splitter can I run both monitors and extend them?

Here is a pic of back of card:
