Her first albums really didn't do anything for me, vocal range seemed very much like the formula of most female pop artists. But the latest Album Joanne is pretty amazing lyrically as well as her vocal range. When she sang the 2016 Super Bowl National anthem my interest piqued up:

Like I said further up, this is the first time/version of the movie I've heard of. A major plot point was ruined for a movie that was new to me instead if someone using a spoiler tag.

Saw a movie on the airplane called "You Were Never Really Here." Quite the violent Joaquin Phoenix mind bender. One part Taxi Driver meets one part First Reformed meets "ball-pein-hammer-from-Oldboy-as-weapon-of-choice."

Weird. Violent. Enjoyed it.

I am still amazed when I watch some of the old “making of Star Wars & Empire Strikes Back” documentaries out there.

Hostiles (2017)-Christian Bale plays an extremely conflicted man hardened by years on the Frontier during the Indian Wars. Sent on a final mission before he musters out of the Army and it's a rough one.

It was pretty intense. A cameo from our man Magua as Chief Yellow Hawk.
