Super Sweet Movie Discussion Thread

Saw a movie on the airplane called "You Were Never Really Here." Quite the violent Joaquin Phoenix mind bender. One part Taxi Driver meets one part First Reformed meets "ball-pein-hammer-from-Oldboy-as-weapon-of-choice."

Weird. Violent. Enjoyed it.

Hostiles (2017)-Christian Bale plays an extremely conflicted man hardened by years on the Frontier during the Indian Wars. Sent on a final mission before he musters out of the Army and it's a rough one.

It was pretty intense. A cameo from our man Magua as Chief Yellow Hawk.

I saw Halloween last week it had some funny moments and a few jump scares. Wasn't expecting much but it was mostly ehh. I would have enjoyed it better if the people in the theater would have shut up and I had a few beers before hand 🤷🏽‍♂️

I remember seeing the previews for that one, I wanted to see it, but don't recall it being out in the cinema.

I caught First Man (complete with American flag on the moon, I thought that wasn't happening?) A star is born and Venom last week.
All good, I'm a bit of a space nerd, so first man was awesome. I can't understand why Lady Gaga dresses up when she goes alright as a normal human, good film too at any rate, there were women bawling all over the cinema. And I like Tom Hardy in everything, Venom took a while to warm up, but it all came together towards the end. I'm assuming he'll be back for another couple of movies, depending on how this one paid off at the box office.

DO NOT watch Submergence...seriously geigh. Watched about 10 minutes🙄. Wish had those 10 back.

I watched Kill Bill for the umpteenth time tonight and am always mesmerized by the absolute beauty and perfection of this scene. Throw it on 'full screen' and enjoy the artwork that went into it.

Edited to remove any political discussion from the movie thread.
