Super Sweet Movie Discussion Thread

Just saw First Man...pretty good & gets my fearless prediction for best sound editing/effects. If you want a bit of silly , on Netflix Au Service de la France is it. Every precious French foible is put to the sword. Worth it.

Not a fan? They’ve been crushing it the last 5 years my dude. Moonlight? The Witch? The Lobster?

True, I loved Moonlight, The Lobster, I just feel like I've been burned more often than not but maybe its because I'm only really remembering the bad ones like It Comes At Night.

I really disliked Ex Machina and The Witch

How would you not know the plot? The movie comes out every 20-30 years since the 30's. Kris Kristofferson was my first, but the 50s and 30s ones are not bad for classics.

I live under a rock and in Nebraska....so that's my excuse at least, I might still go and see it even with knowing how it ends now, still sucks though to have the first viewing ruined.

I've never seen it. I don't like chick flicks unless they're about the Queen. I won't see the new one, either. I might see First Man. I'll probably see Venom...because...Tom Hardy.

I've seen a few chick flicks but only under extreme pressure...I saw Out of Africa, which sucked. I saw The English Patient which was like a two-hour fucking perfume commercial that made me want to puke...and I saw 40 minutes of The Horse Whisperer, that Mrs O and I both walked out of because it was stupid.
