There have been a few stories about Teslas not recognizing stopped school buses with at least one kid merked out by climate change as a result.
A month or so ago Tesla had a self-driving Beta test owners could sign up for. My wife was invited or whatever, but never enabled used the feature. Somewhere around the above a software update occurred which now shows brake lights and traffic lights on your screen. I noticed the brake lights were good, but some of the traffic lights didn't show until you were through the intersection...The best part is the software update wasn't large, which tells me the bulk of the code for self-driving is already on the car.
I can't wait for the 0 day exploit which sends these things flying through crowds like an 80 YO at a farmer's market.

I thought this would fit best here. There's a few tricks going on here, but I am glad we are at least doing something about China's economic advantages (slave labor and corporate espionage).

According to the American Trucking Association, trucks move "72.6% of the nation's freight by weight." So the next step is California banning all diesel trucks.
