One other scenario I'd consider a good possibility. Somebody offers this kid money to ice the guy. Murder-for-hire is usually amateur...because try to find a pro-hit man.
But how many times have we seen husbands or wives or whoever hire some local dude for a couple of thousand bucks to rub out their spouse...or boss...or whatever. It happens.
The kid's demeanor, smiling in the coffee shop, makes me think this wasn't necessarily his own personal crusade.

I don't think coffee dude is the same guy. Maybe it's just the picture being blurry, but sure seems like different jackets. Different bags for sure.
The picture you put up, the guy on the left may not be the same dude. But these are the ones the cops are putting out. Same guy just different lighting, different cameras. Look at the jacket. Same jacket, same pockets, style hood etc. Same neck gaiter face mask. Same nose.

Companies are pulling bios of their leadership because I guess they are worried about their safety.
It would be a shame if SEC filings were public. Man, I bet there's a lot of information if one were to acquire a publicly available financial disclosure document.
Think of the Christmas card list one could create using Federally mandated financial disclosure documents easily found through a search engine.

That's a $2,284.00 gun, plus taxes, plus ATF tax and tax stamp, and all the hoops to check off before the ATF even considers a proceed.
Dudes be arguing all over the internet that they wouldn't want their post 500 dollar guns being taken even for a good shoot and this guy if legally bought, burns it all just to achieve an end goal. I'm just saying, dude had no price tag to achieving a means to an end.

My money is on it being a disgruntled person with military experience whose claim, or their family's, has been denied. However, if it turns out to be something more sinister, like an actual assassination, I wouldn’t be surprised. I think it’ll depend on how the story is covered—if it gets buried and forgotten, I’m leaning toward an assassin.
