While in New York, the man stayed at a hostel on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, the NYPD said at a Friday briefing. Authorities are working to determine whether he paid in cash and used a fake ID to rent a room there.

Roommates at the hostel said he kept his mask on the entire time, even while eating, only pulling it down to take a bite, the NYPD said.

So, according to authorities, homie walked into a McDonalds (its always a McDonalds) in PA, where someone recognized him as the shooter and called police.

He reportedly was taken into custody where they found a fake ID and a gun similar to the one used... I believe he also had an autographed selfie that said "I did it".

The suspected shooter has been named.

Luigi Mangione as reported by the NY post.

They report him as a "anti-captialist who likes the unabomber".

1. A Quick look at his twitter shows some stuff not common with the left, I.E. sharing articles about how the decline rates of Christians have lead to new intolerant gods of secularism. The dude seems like a Rogan-techbro circa 2016ish. Actually pretty close to some positions Elon has/had.

I saw a comment from Hasan Piker which was along the lines of "if this dude is well-spoken, attractive, and comes across as a normie, catching him and giving him a day in court might backfire."

He's not right about a bunch of things, but this statement seems accurate to me.

Look, apparently they caught dude in Altoona, PA.

I'll say this, it's definitely not right, legally or morally, doing what he did......

But, I understand.
