New to forum and Intro

My name is Long Boarder and I am new to these forums.
I live and work on Southern CA for a Fire Dept. or Slab savers as some police like to call us. I have some over seas experience though not deployed with the military. I have a family and sometimes think emergency calls are easier then doing daddy day care. I enjoy talking and reading what like minded people have to say and in SoCal I have to keep my mouth shut a lot. If I have something to offer and contribute to the forums I will speak up, but I will probably keep my eyes and ears open and read.
